Effective Chronic Pain Relief for a Better Life!

For many people, the journey to better health and wellness begins with a desire to alleviate pain or other issues caused by injury, illness or other factors that have compromised spinal health, form or function. Yet all to often, many people find their options in this pursuit are limited to medication aimed solely at symptoms relief or high-risk invasive procedures.

At Square ONE, we take a different approach to health and healing-on that focuses on empowering you with knowledge, support and personalized care to help you achieve specific health goals, whether you seek to eliminate pain, improve posture, correct spine deformities or prevent the onset or progression of spine-related issues in the future.

Chiropractic is a non-drug, non-surgical form a healthcare that focuses on restoring and maintaining the normal form and function of the spine. The nervous system is the bodies master control system and is responsible for maintaining and controlling all the functions within the body. The skull protects the brain and the spine is responsible for protecting the spinal cord and peripheral nerves that exit the spine and control the rest of the body. Accidents, falls, car crashes, poor posture, repetitive motions, etc. can cause restrictions and/or misalignments to individual vertebrae or whole sections of the spine know as subluxations. Subluxations in the spine can not only cause pain, but can also lead to degenerative changes, muscle spasms, altered muscle function and decreased function of the nervous system. Many health problems can show improvements when the nervous system function is improved with improvements in both spine structure and function.

The foundation of chiropractic is the spinal adjustment. Adjustments are a very specific application of force using either hand or instrumentation to the spine. There are many different types of chiropractic techniques ranging from low-force methods where no “audible” noise is heard such an instrument or drop table and there are more traditional methods where manual adjustments using the doctor’s hands to restore normal motion to the spine and an audible noise is frequently heard. Most spinal adjustments improve segmental motion and reduce pain, however very few chiropractic techniques have been shown effecting in improving spine alignment and/or positioning.

There have been nearly 100 randomized controlled trials documenting the effectiveness of chiropractic adjustments helping patients with low back pain, and nearly another 100 studies showing he effectiveness of adjustments helping in the reduction of neck pain, headaches, upper back pain and cervicobrachial (neck and arm pain). There is an outstanding amount of research demonstrating the effusiveness of adjustments in providing short-term pain relief. However, very few techniques have been found effective in improving posture and spine alignment, measured on x-rays, before and after treatment.

At Square ONE we use a highly personalized and comprehensive approach that centers on Chiropractic BioPhysics, the most proven therapy for non-surgical spine correction. We use a combination of specific adjustments using either hand or instrumentation to restore normal segmental motion, reduce pain and improve overall function while at the same time incorporating Mirror-Image® adjustments methods that help retrain the body to holds itself in a correct position. Our program uses advanced diagnostics and targeted treatment and therapies to produces predictable, reproduceable and measurable results that help you move away from pain and other limitations toward spinal health and overall wellness. Research has shown using Mirror-Image® in combination of specific Mirror-Image® adjustments and traction can make significant improvements in both spine alignment and posture. These research studies are done using Chiropractic BioPhysics® technique.

Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP®) technique emphasizes optimal posture and spinal alignment while simultaneously reducing pain and improving function. The uniqueness of CBP® is in structural rehabilitation of the spine and posture.
